Mokola market is one of the busiest ,biggest and colourful open market we have in west Africa.It’s a place of all commercial activities in the city,it’s always one stop market of which you can have the very things you need such as imported clothing,local textiles,farm products and different kind of beads etc The market is busy from Monday to Saturday
Stop At: Center for National Culture, 28th February Rd Near Nkrumah Memorial Park & Mausoleum, Accra Ghana
Walk through the many stalls and see and buy everything from sculptures, fabric, jewelry and clothes.

Stop At: National Museum of Ghana, Barnes Rd., Accra Ghana
The largest and oldest of the eight (8) museums run by the Ghana Museums and Monuments Board is the National Museum of Ghana. The National Museum’s permanent exhibition features items like Chiefs regalia, archaeological artifacts, models of indigenous Ghanaian architecture, ethnomedicine or traditional medicines, indigenous iron technology, gold weights and jewelry boxes, stools, traditional kitchen set-up, beads, pottery, old currencies, chair of state, presidential gifts and cars, rites of passage, and a children’s corner with engaging hands-on activities.
These artifacts have been gathered together to tell our collective story. But more importantly, to emphasize how interconnected and dependent we are despite having diverse cultural forms and traditions.
